Hey,
I am about to build a Server that is supposed to run with a Socket 754
AMD 64 Sempron 3000+ processor or similar. Are there anything I should
be aware of before buying a mainboard? Are there any chipsets to
avoid/look for when I want to get out most of Linux ACPI?
Any help or sucess/failure reports would be very much appreciated. Thank
you very much for your effort.
Best regards,
Arik Funke
BTW: Can I control the cpu voltage or frequency from linux? (They can be
set using the BIOS.)
