More details here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/820489 It might be a BIOS issue (I'm not 100% sure), but I think one cannot require an ordinary W520 Linux user to upgrade the BIOS. Thus I am looking for another route. Any help that connects me to the right person who can deal with my issue is appreciated. Ralf
