I have question
How can I check if Turbo Boost is working with Xeon E5649

I have turbostats that shows:

So 2.67Ghz - but based on Intel spec max Turbo freq. for this cpu is 2.93Ghz

Is there any tool that can show me good turbo stats ? or turbostat is ok 
but i have something wrong with Bios settings ? C-STATES ? pm governor ?

It is working.

You have too many cores active.  You'll have to quiesce 4 cores into C6
to get 2.93GHz[1] out of the remaining 2 cores in the package.
