Thanks. The same happened to me on 2.6.12-rc2, once applied the patch, but I've been using a plain 2.6.12-rc3 for 5 days and I'm getting S3 and S4 without any problem on an IBM ThinkPad T42p (S3 with acpi_sleep=s3_bios, as previously reported). So, question: is this bug completely solved? In this case, the two bugs [1] and [2] should be closed ;-) Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca [1] http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=4596 [2] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=259745 --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBCdO/8VAp7Xm10JmkRAlZOAJ9An8JYP5+8dBmPCXcmhvU2+VcmTgCfYw2D 8eBs6Bq9Bs1hF6Gn/XH7ar8= =JaL2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=-- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
