I've enjoyed working ACPI up untill about 2.6.0-something, and after
that I cannot even run the battery gauge in Gnome; the machine will
instantly reboot as soon as it reads the battery state. How do I go
about finding what causes the crash, as it is instant reboot when I
test it?
Attached is .config and dmesg output:

I know the dmesg output shows I'm running VMWare, but that makes
no difference at all, it reboots just as nice without.
