Hi Guys,

I've solved nearly all my Problems with my Samsung X30 1700 Notebook. The only
(realy big) Problem I have till now is my Power Button. It doesn't generate
an acpi event ;o(. And because of that (I think) I can not wake up my
Notebook from S3 (which is really beginning to f**** me off). The Problem is
I've no Idea where I should begin to search for an answer. Is it possible
that this thing is a Kernel Problem or is it more likely to be a problem of
my acpi Daemon? I would welcome any help offered to me ;o).

Greetings

Daniel

I assume the power button works for powering down the running system?

wakeup GPEs are currently broken, will have bob's new code ready to test
next week -- stay tuned.

cheers,

No.. powering down with the Power Button doesn't work. The Button does not
even generate an ACPI event. The only thing I can do with the PW Button at
the Moment is Powering the machine on. Nothing else.

Greetings

Daniel
