Hello,
I've compiled the 2.4.21 kernel version recently and I do a "dmesg" and it
shows:
Dell Inspiron with broken BIOS detected. Refusing to enable the local APIC.
Someone knows about this? May I disable the local APIC in the kernel?
I don't have any acpi patch at the moment.
If someone has experience with ACPI + Dell Inspiron 8200, I would like to
listen any comment about that.
Cheers...
