Laptop - Suspend mode problem - RedHat 8.0 -

Hi Friends,
I have one trouble with my laptop suspend mode...!! I have Dell Latitude
C610 laptop with RedHat
Linux 8.0 installed on it.  When I close the screen of the laptop i.e
fold it together ( changing its side view 
from _/ position to =  position  hope you understand  ) ...the laptop
goes into suspend mode and
afterwards, when I unfold it, nothing works anymore. No touchpad ..no
keyboard, nothing...
no ctl-alt-delete --> I have to power it off  ( no unmounting, no good).

What is wrong with this? What should I do to get rid of this problem?
Please help me..as this
thing is eating  my brain since a long time.
