Have an entry in httpd.conf like that:

Alias /prj "/home/djh/SYSTEM/prj/"

<Directory "/home/djh/SYSTEM/prj">
      Options Indexes MultiViews
      AllowOverride None
      Order allow,deny
      Allow from all
</Directory>

?

then you can access http://some.domain.org/prj
