Dear Sir,
I am running a DHCP server in my site, it was running for 6 months
without any problem or even restart. This week every half of hour, I
need to restart the service.
When I type:
# ./dhcpd status
Process is dead but PID file exist.
# ./dhcpd restart
o I'm using Redhat 7.3, the /var is using his own partition.
o P4 Intel.
Thank you for your help in advance.
Best regards,

Are your drives failing?
Have you run memtest86?
Did you make any configuration changes recently?
Have you checked to see if a core file is produced?
What do the logs show?
