I am planning on installing a firewire card in my PC and I wondered what
experience others had had with them. The Linux firewire project seems to
have had quite varied results, some cards appearing with different levels
of success. My main contenders at present are:
Pinnacle DVplus - combined firewire and normal video in (I don't really
expect
the normal video to work with Linux)
Adaptec DuoConnect - combined USB 2.0 and firewire.
