I am looking for some pointers on how to achieve the following.
We have a number of small independent clusters of PCs each with a set of
local IP addresses (192.168.x.x) and each cluster has a linux machine with
global IP address performing ipfwd for that cluster. Is it possible for
two PCs connected to different clusters to carry out communication with
each other using, say, MS "net-meeting"? I was told that using ipfwd and
vpn it is possible. I haven't done vpn before. I know somebody on this
group is going to tell me to RTFM. But before I go ahead and read the
howtos, I would like to know if it is possible at all. Please help.

Yes this is possible. FreeSwan will do what you are
asking.

 Kyle.
