Well that did get rid of the errors in the log files.
But I still cann't see the shares.
Here is the new smb.conf

Ok --
I running Slack-8.0 and Samba 2.2.5( source build).
Problem is I cann't see samba server in network neighborhood on WinMe (Debian Samba istall works).
