Hi,

How can I bind ascii value of key to
backward-delete-char. For example I am unable to
assign ascii value
7F to backward-delete-char in .inputrc:
7f: backward-delete-char

When I press delete(whose ascii value is 7f) it
is not working as backspace.

Kindly explain how to do that.

Regards
Venkat.
