Subject: mkisofs boot cd & disc name
Date: Sun, 26 Jan 2003 08:54:47 -0800 (PST)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20030126165447.1008.qmail@web40806.mail.yahoo.com> (raw)

Hiya,

How exactly do I go about making boot cds and giving a
name to the disc, in mkisofs?

I tried the following command,

mkisofs -R -A exolinux -G /mnt/cdrom/images/boot.img
-o cdimage.raw /mnt/cdrom

As far as I know, -A is for the name of the disc
(application id) and -G is the path for the boot
image. But when I burnt, neither turned out, the name
of the cd in the volume header was "cdrom" and it was
not a bootable cd.

What exactly is the problem? Where am I going wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Neon.
