Subject: difference between linux extended, win95 extended and extended
Date: 18 Feb 2003 15:07:42 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20030218150742.1802.qmail@s1.home.ro> (raw)
Hi everybody,
A Google search yielded nothing on this subject, so I'm
asking you.
When partitioning with fdisk I noticed there were three types
of extended partitions: win95 extended, linux extended and
extended. What exactly are the differences between those three
?
Any pointers to online documentation would also be helpful.
Thanks, Alina
