I tried to use the KDSETLED ioctl, but it's dependent on the tty. I need a way to turn them on/of regardless of tty, console and even while on X. Mind that I don't need to actually change the associated flags, just control the LEDs. Does anyone know a way of doing that short of writing a kernel module? TIA -- Jorge R.
