Subject: raid software and boot

Hello,
I've got some problem with suse and raid software boot partition. During
installation of both versions 8.2 and 9.0 I'm unable to configure the boot
partition as raid software with mirroring, and this is forbidding me since if
a disk crashes, the other one will not contain the boot partition, isn't it?
Is there a way to enable a boot partition with mirroring or some tricks to
overtake situations where a disk fails? I'm thinking something like booting
the system by a live cd setting then the root disk on the sane one, but maybe
I'm wrong.
Thanks,
Luca
