Hi Kirk,

Logrotation is handled by logrotate.
/etc/logrotate.d
root@XXXXXX [/etc/logrotate.d]# ls
./ acpid bfd exim mgetty named psacct samba squid tux
vsftpd.log
../ apf cups httpd mysql ppp rpm snmpd syslog up2date
root@XXXXXX [/etc/logrotate.d]# cat syslog
/var/log/messages /var/log/secure /var/log/maillog /var/log/spooler /var/log/boot.log /var/log/cron
{
    sharedscripts
    postrotate
        /bin/kill -HUP `cat /var/run/syslogd.pid 2> /dev/null` 2> /dev/null ||
true
    endscript
}

The cron may be in /etc/cron.daily/logrotate
