How can I deny to receive mail from specific host(s)?
System: Slackware 7.0

Look in /etc/mail for a file called access.  Edit that file and add a
line with the IP address of the host you want to reject mail from
followed by the word REJECT.  Restart sendmail and mail from that host
will be denied.

He should also rebuild the hash before restarting sendmail.
 makemap hash /etc/mail/access < /etc/mail/access

Actually, rebuilding the hash is all that's necessary.  Sendmail doesn't
need to be restarted in this specific case.

I wasn't sure about that, thx. I knew that after issuing newaliases one
doesn't need to restart sendmail.
