alist seems to work pretty well.  You do have to install perl on the win 
boxes, but I don't see that as a minus

inventory system

 I have been looking around any tool for inventoring hardware and
software installed in my linux servers, to know
at any moment what is installed in each server.

 I would prefer a web-based tool (php and PostgreSQL preferable).
