A hardware solution could be cobbled together by a power timer set to=20 turn on at the specified time (with the bios set to turn on on power),=20 and set to turn off some period of time after a cron shutdown. Kinda=20 cheezy though... Obviously, turning the machine off is not a big deal, it's turning it=20 back on... You could always explore the wonderful (dripping sarcasm) world of Wake= =20 On Lan, assuming your hardware supports it.
