Due to a web application for booking facilities, we have suffered the problems of having different times in our linux servers and in the domain. As all our workstations get the net time from the PDC through SNTP, I thought about the same from the linux servers. Because I didnt know anything NTP, I had a look on the Internet to see some newsgroups and webpages, but I didnt get the idea of how to sort this out. I installed the ntp client on one of my linux servers but obviously, because We have SNTP and not NTP there is no possible connection. I thought of just set the time of those linux servers on the respective BIOSes, but I am trying first a more professional approach. Maybe I should rethink the scenario and try other approaches: such as synchronizing the PDC with my linux boxes... I just want to get any idea from you guys... Many thanks Miguel
