It has an Athlon running an 1.3 GHz, 512 MB of DDR, and two=20 SCSI disk running at 80 MHz in RAID 0 by software. The load average in=20 the order of 2 to 3 is quite common. The problem is that it hangs more or less once a week and our=20 internal discussions are escalating to physical agression in two or=20 three days :-). What is puzzling us is that it doesn't tell anything on= =20 what is happening, but it seems that it stops reading the disk and the=20 kernel doesn't panic, as it answers pings and once I was logged in and=20 was able to type commands (of course, if I hit enter nothing happens). Well, any ideas to avoid the bloodshed (am I spelling it correctly?)= =20 will be apreciated.
