Hi, Dave:
I used version 3.7 also. IIRC, I tried
knoppix screen=800x600 depth=16
and then selected mode "0" (80x25).
Specifically, what boot prompts have you tried?
If you see
"You passed an undefined mode number.
Press <return> to see a list ..."
Try mode "0".
Hmmm, this seems to be more of a 'linux-newbie' than a 'linux-admin'. :-|
