My Intel 100s NICs on IBM xSeries 205 eServers, running RH7.2 with 2.4 Kernel, MDK7.2 with 2.2 Kernel, and MDK8.2 with 2.4 Kernel, just work, 100Mb full-duplex. Maybe it's your motherboard? Really though, you are creating a guessing game when you don't supply these people with complete information as they requested. Perhaps you are working in a top secret facility, but we really have a need to know your hardware and software configs to get you a good answer. Regards. Scott.
