To get a proper answer, divulge your secret distribution and version and
any modifications/upgrades you may have made to the software in question;
this namely GNOME.
My version of GNOME has a menu editor with it, check under:
Menu->Programs->Settings
Or have a look at files in: /usr/share/gnome/apps
