Subject: vacation script not working
Date: Thu, 2 Oct 2003 16:38:49 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <93041D5F-F531-11D7-BC08-0003931536DA@iccorp.com> (raw)
Hi all,
I'm using RH 6.2 with Sendmail 8.11.6.
I am trying to get the vacation script to run, and it does not appear
to be working. I have used this before, but I have since upgraded the
version of sendmail and also recently downloaded and installed a newer
version of the vacation script, but it is still not working properly.
The vacation script is supposed to insert whatever is in the file
~home/.vacation.msg into a reply to the sender.
However, the problem is that a blank subject and body are sent as the
reply. the vacation script seems to be working, but it does not appear
to be using the .vacation.msg that I authored for this purpose.
Any suggestions? Ideas? Is it possible to make the vacation script use
a different file beside .vacation.msg ?
Thanks in advance for your help,
-S. Alan
