What is the best tool available for network and service monitoring of
servers. I use Red Hat Linux.

I like Nagios (http://www.nagios.org/). It started out as SATAN, then SAINT,
then, NetSAINT. Now, it's Nagios. It's a hard learning curve, but once
you've got it in place, it works really well.
