If Signed-off lines have a purpose, that is destroyed by fake ones. Worse, a future lawyer can now convincingly argue that many correctly-spelled Signed-off lines are worthless fakes, too. A few well-placed private slaps on wrists can probably prevent this becoming common practice. Rusty. PS.
