Subject: [PATCH v12 07/11] qspinlock: Revert to test-and-set on hypervisors
Date: Thu, 16 Oct 2014 14:10:36 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1413483040-58399-8-git-send-email-Waiman.Long@hp.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1413483040-58399-1-git-send-email-Waiman.Long@hp.com>

From: Peter Zijlstra <peterz@infradead.org>

When we detect a hypervisor (!paravirt, see qspinlock paravirt support
patches), revert to a simple test-and-set lock to avoid the horrors
of queue preemption.
