Subject: [PATCH -tip v6 01/22] kprobes: Prohibit probing on .entry.text code
Date: Thu, 19 Dec 2013 09:03:56 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20131219090356.14309.15099.stgit@kbuild-fedora.novalocal> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20131219090353.14309.15496.stgit@kbuild-fedora.novalocal>

.entry.text is a code area which is used for interrupt/syscall
entries, and there are many sensitive codes.
Thus, it is better to prohibit probing on all of such codes
instead of a part of that.
Since some symbols are already registered on kprobe blacklist,
this also removes them from the blacklist.
