Subject: [RFC PATCH 5/6] x86: use _do_fork() in compat_sys_x86_clone()
Date: Sun, 18 Mar 2018 17:10:55 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20180318161056.5377-6-linux@dominikbrodowski.net> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20180318161056.5377-1-linux@dominikbrodowski.net>
It is trivial to directly call _do_fork() instead of the sys_clone()
syscall in compat_sys_x86_clone().
This patch is part of a series which tries to remove in-kernel calls to
syscalls. On this basis, the syscall entry path can be streamlined.
