Hi,all!
Platform:Linux 2.6.24.2
MCU:Samsung ARM11
Codec:WM9715 AC97
Problem:
When MCU resume from suspend,no sound but can also
playback from start to end!
It has sound only by modifing sound setting applicantion
program!
I see ubuntu alsa resume,it is use alsa-force(reloading
alsa driver to fix that problem),is that only way to fix that issue in
ARM too?
My driver is built-in!
I try to write volume reg to codec when resume, also the
same problem!
Thanks first!

This is a very old kernel, I would strongly recommend upgrading to
something more current, it will make it much easier for you to seek
upstream support.

The wm971x ASoC drivers have suspend and resume support which is fairly
widely used on a number of platforms. However, there may be problems
with the CPU drivers. As a first step I would suggest checking to make
sure that the master clock to the CODEC is restarted after resume and
that the AC97 link is succesfully restarted.

To check the clock you should use an oscilloscope to make sure that the
clock is present and running at the expected rate.
I'm not sure what you mean about MP3 playback?
