Subject: [PATCH] ARM: 7397/1: l2x0: only apply workaround for erratum #753970 on PL310
Date: Fri, 4 May 2012 11:00:46 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1336125646-28737-1-git-send-email-will.deacon@arm.com> (raw)

[ Backport of upstream commit f154fe9b806574437b47f08e924ad10c0e240b23 ]

The workaround for PL310 erratum #753970 can lead to deadlock on systems
with an L220 cache controller.

This patch makes the workaround effective only when the cache controller
is identified as a PL310 at probe time.

Russell - the version of this patch upstream conflicted in stable 3.3
due to your uint32_t changes in the diff context. Here's the
backport I'd like to send to Greg -- can I have your ack
	  please?
