Hi,
Here is the bcm2835-sdhost driver. Patches 1+2 are unmodified from
Eric, patches 3+4 are incremental fixes. Left them separate for now,
to make it easier to review, should probably squashed in for the final
version. Patch 5 adds it to the device tree, in disabled state.
Actually enabling the thing depends on a bunch of changes in the gpio
handling of the device tree. Leaving that for another day ...

The custom one runs faster The code was originally written by Phil Elwell in the downstream Rasbperry Pi tree, and I did a major cleanup on it (+319, -707 lines out of the original 2055) for inclusion. I have feeling that there might be some odd things going on in this driver related to this. I could be wrong through. Is there something else needed in > set_ios()? As you told me above, you are using an external regulator to power the card (VDD). And it seems like in this particular case this is always powered on. Still, my recommendation is to model this as a regulator, as it would prevent you from hard-coding the so called mmc->ocr_mask_avail. Instead that mask can be fetched by checking the supported voltage levels from the regulators. Please have a look at mmc_regulator_get_supply() and mmc_regulator_set_ocr(), those helpers are really convenient to use. You should be using the "vmmc" regulator for this purpose.
