Subject: [PATCH v3] arm64: Support hard limit of cpu count by nr_cpus
Date: Tue, 9 Aug 2016 10:30:49 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1470709849-22859-1-git-send-email-wangkefeng.wang@huawei.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <9b1b28bb-3102-d6f1-2989-ae764d340527@arm.com>
Enable the hard limit of cpu count by set boot options nr_cpus=x
on arm64, and make a minor change about message when total number
of cpu exceeds the limit.
Reviewed-by: Suzuki K Poulose <suzuki.poulose@arm.com>
Reported-by: Shiyuan Hu <hushiyuan@huawei.com>
Signed-off-by: Kefeng Wang <wangkefeng.wang@huawei.com>

Change since v2:
- change the warning message suggested-by Suzuki, and Suzuki's reviewed-by
Change since v1:
- clip cpu number in smp_init_cpus suggested-by Will and Suzuki, and update
the warning.
