ACPI extended IRQ resources may contain a Resource Source field to specify
an alternate interrupt controller, attempting to map them as GSIs is
incorrect, so just disable the platform resource.
Since this field is currently ignored, we make this change conditional
on CONFIG_ACPI_GENERIC_GSI to keep the current behavior on x86 platforms,
in case some existing ACPI tables are using this incorrectly.

ACPI extended IRQ resources may contain a ResourceSource to specify
an alternate interrupt controller. Introduce acpi_irq_get and use it
to implement ResourceSource/IRQ domain mapping.
The new API is similar to of_irq_get and allows re-initialization
of a platform resource from the ACPI extended IRQ resource, and
provides proper behavior for probe deferral when the domain is not
yet present when called.

Driver for interrupt combiners in the Top-level Control and Status
Registers (TCSR) hardware block in Qualcomm Technologies chips.
An interrupt combiner in this block combines a set of interrupts by
OR'ing the individual interrupt signals into a summary interrupt
signal routed to a parent interrupt controller, and provides read-
only, 32-bit registers to query the status of individual interrupts.
The status bit for IRQ n is bit (n % 32) within register (n / 32)
of the given combiner. Thus, each combiner can be described as a set
of register offsets and the number of IRQs managed.

Since we've now established that you couldn't really mask interrupts at
all, screaming like this is just going to make the matter worse. Please
drop this, or at the very least ratelimit it. Also, this is really
tortuous since your 'mask' is actually an 'enable' (you only accept an
interrupt if the bit is set).
But let's look at what you're testing here: If no interrupt is enabled,
scream if something is pending. I really wonder what you get by doing
so -- pending and masked interrupts are extremely common, and because
you cannot handle them doesn't mean you should kill the machine (which
your WARN_ON is guaranteed to do). Also, this should be consolidated
with the code below...

Same thing: protesting against masked+pending interrupts is futile. If
they happen, your CPU is wedged anyway. I'd suggest that you drop the 0
test case (which doesn't save anything anyway):

That's a good point. Here probing should be deferred only if we know a
driver capable of handling fwspec.fwnode will have a chance to be
probed/initialized eventually right (which basically means it is
compiled in the kernel and we hope it will probed successfully) ? I am
not sure there is an easy way to detect that in ACPI at the moment, I
suspect it is time we added a linker section (or augment the existing
one used for irqchip early MADT parsing - IRQCHIP_ACPI_DECLARE) for this
purpose I do not see any other option (apart from leaving devices in the
deferred probe list if a driver for the irqchip represented by
fwspec.fwnode is not present in the kernel, which is a bit sloppy, or
resorting to checking Kconfig entries to detect compile time enabled
irqchip drivers).

Yeah but then you would end up with flags initialized in
acpi_irq_parse_one() and the other resource params (ie start, end) here,

I'll add the linker section suggested by Lorenzo for the extra check.
We can do that check in acpi_get_irq_source_fwhandle and make the lookup
fail if the device is not listed in the table.
That way we can keep this check as-is.
