From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: mathieu.poirier@linaro.org (Mathieu Poirier) Date: Thu, 5 Jul 2018 16:13:41 -0600 Subject: [PATCH v2 1/7] perf: Introduce ioctl to communicate driver configuration to kernel In-Reply-To: <1530828827-11604-1-git-send-email-mathieu.poirier@linaro.org> References: <1530828827-11604-1-git-send-email-mathieu.poirier@linaro.org> Message-ID: <1530828827-11604-2-git-send-email-mathieu.poirier@linaro.org> To: linux-arm-kernel@lists.infradead.org List-Id: linux-arm-kernel.lists.infradead.org Adding a new IOCTL command to communicate PMU specific configuration to PMU kernel drivers. This can be anything a PMU might need for configuration that doesn't fit in the perf_event_attr structure, such as the CoreSight sink to use for a session.
