With all the recent issues over default configurations I have decided
to release the Kernel autobuilder fifth anniversary statistics a bit
early.

The report is still a little raw but clearly illustrates the
proliferation of default configurations on ARM (although MIPS and PPC
are not all that far behind!) 

In brief, we could loose around 90% of the default configurations
(i.e. keep only 20 configurations) and "only" loose build coverage of
40% of the supported machines!

As always the ARM Kernel autobuilder is available at
http://armlinux.simtec.co.uk/kautobuild/ 

The community usage of this service has dropped to an all time low
(only six people actually used it in the last month) and I am
seriously considering if it serves a useful purpose any longer.

What do you mean by "used it"? Is there anything else then subscribing to the ml
and get the build mails?

I found those mails very useful to have a fast overview if something broke most
of the arm builds. Getting a mail about the MIPS build showed useless to me tho
as none of the builds ever succeded.

It would be cool to have some kind of filter: I read the autobuilder
mails on a daily base, but usually, we are only interested in the state
of machines we are maintaining, which is difficult to find out if you
always get the whole list. So for my daily checks, I'm relying more on
the mails of our internal autobuilder, which allows better filtering
plus runtime tests.

But anyway: the service is great!

Yes I too use it for checking after each -rc has been tagged or so.
