Hi,

I am using an ARMv7 500 mhz board which is running linux-2.6.28-rc9 kernel.
I am running an application which does video processing on it. At times, the
board gets CPU soft lockup and become freezed.

Is their any fix/workaround for the following problem.

That suggests a stuck IRQ.

Normally, the kernel will disable the interrupt so the system can
continue to (mostly) function.

However, people like to return IRQ_HANDLED from interrupt handlers,
even when they've found nothing to do.  This prevents the kernel from
rescuing you from the stuck-IRQ problem.  Interrupt handlers are
supposed to return IRQ_HANDLED if they did something to handle the IRQ,
or IRQ_NONE if they found nothing to do.

I can't say much more than that - I've no idea what hardware you're
running the kernel on, and therefore I can't guess what IRQ92 might be.

ARGH.  Disable the debugging printascii please.  It's *ONLY* there for
debugging the very early boot of the kernel, and once that's working
it should be disabled as soon as possible after that fact.

Leaving it on results in these messages becoming unreadable.

However, as I said subsequently, you need to investigate why your
IRQ92 handler is always returning IRQ_HANDLED.
