Your description makes it sound like there is something going wrong
here with the dependency tracking. Do you mean that merging these
patches without the other subsystem specific changes would cause
problems, or were you just waiting for the DT bindings to stabilize?

If the dtsi changes by themselves would cause compile-time or run-time
problems, we should not merge them without having the commits for
the driver changes first.

In either case, I think it's too late now, so please send them again
for 4.2.
