So, for my next version, I am planning to change this "lockstep-mode" to a ti,cluster-mode property (still an enum/integer). We have a new SoC family coming up wherein we are supporting a unique mode called "Single CPU" mode which is not the same as LockStep, and I will be finding the current "lockstep-mode" property limiting there.

If 2 vendors already need the same thing, then that's a clue that we 
should be dropping the vendor prefix. Though AIUI, lockstep is an R5 
feature, so 'arm' would be the appropriate vendor.

The bigger issue is I don't think a single property is enough to 
capture the differences between lockstep or not. But I'm not all that 
familar with it.

I am not sure if all the ARM SoC vendors are using the same configs as 
defined in the standard ARM R5 Spec. As per the standard R5 TRM, an ARM 
R5 processor group can consist of one or two CPUs with the following 
modes: Single-CPU, Twin CPU, Redundant CPU and Split/Lock.

I know that TI definitely has some customizations around the standard 
ARM behavior. We are mostly Split/Lock for our existing SoCs (and Xilinx 
looks that way too so far), but we have some customizations in newer SoCs.
Eg: our upcoming Single-CPU mode is not the same as the ARM Single-CPU 
mode, it is a custom mode within a 2 CPU configuration.

So, I am a bit hesitant to use the arm vendor prefix.

You are correct, rproc_mem_entry_init() does take care of the virtual address
but in this case is it NULL (second argument) so there is no advantage.  I'm
highlighting this because the way it is now, memory will come out of the DMA
pool whereas if rproc_of_resm_mem_entry_init() was used it would be out of the
reserved memory pool.

In the end it won't make a difference for the remote processor but the DMA pool
could be used for other things on the system.
