Subject: [PATCH] arm64: drop the no-effect select ARM_SMC_MBOX in config ARCH_STM32
Date: Mon, 15 Jan 2024 15:43:07 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20240115144307.27409-1-lukas.bulwahn@gmail.com> (raw)

Commit 9e4e24414cc6 ("arm64: introduce STM32 family on Armv8 architecture")
adds the config ARCH_STM32, which selects the non-existing config
ARM_SMC_MBOX. The config ARM_SMC_MBOX was once proposed on the mailing list
(see Link), but it was never merged.

It seems though that this STM32 architecture works fine without this
driver---otherwise, the users and contributor would have already noticed
this by now.

Drop this no-effect select ARM_SMC_MBOX in config ARCH_STM32.
