Whether or not you use auxdev or any other method etc, does not matter
in a DT system, the consumer will always have a phandle to the provider
node:
ABC: whatever {
compatible = "whatever";
#clock-cells = <...>;
#reset-cells = <...>;
}
something-else {
clocks = <&ABC ...>;
resets = <&ABC ...>;
}
