Subject: [PATCH v8 5/9] drm/rockchip: vop2: Register the primary plane and overlay plane separately
Date: Tue, 31 Dec 2024 17:07:48 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20241231090802.251787-6-andyshrk@163.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20241231090802.251787-1-andyshrk@163.com>
From: Andy Yan <andy.yan@rock-chips.com>
In the upcoming VOP of rk3576, a Window cannot attach to all Video Ports,
so make sure all VP find it's suitable primary plane, then register the
remain windows as overlay plane will make code easier.

Changes in v3:
- Add comments for why we should treat rk3566 with special care.
