This is wrong it should be:

static const char * const sun8i_board_dt_compat[] = {
	"allwinner,sun8i-a23",
	"allwinner,sun8i-a33",
  	NULL,
};

To match what you've said it will be in Documentation/devicetree/bindings/arm/sunxi.txt
(which is correct).

Otherwise this patch looks good, thanks for your work on this.
