One more comment here, actually repeating Rob, because this awfully reminds me discussions with Linaro folks around media/iris/camss where they came with terrible idea of sorting everything by value (reg+clocks+interrupts) - because binding does not know anything about addresses, thus you cannot sort/order this list in the binding by address.
