You say you wanted to "avoid sdcard >driver interaction" , but was the sdcard actually compiled out? No, the driver was not compiled out on this one, however I think the other kernel doesn't have it. I will try removing the framebuffer from this one as it's almost unmodified and with almost no driver, but I think I tried that already. LeTama
