Subject: segfaults in pam_loginuid.so/sshd
Date: Fri, 27 Oct 2006 19:00:20 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20061028000020.GA30812@w-m-p.com> (raw)
If you're seeing segfaults when logging in via ssh with pam_loginuid.so
using the "require_auditd" option, or possibly other weird audit related
behavior, try upgrading or recompiling the PAM library and/or the audit
library. The segfault I was seeing was caused by a binary incompatible
change in the libaudit.h audit_reply structure with mismatched packages
in the recent RHEL5 beta.
(Irina, feel free to declassify issue tracker #104436 if you think that's
appropriate.)
